Capcom has announced that its latest zombie-destruction simulator, Dead Rising 2, has shipped two million copies around the world. According to Capcom, this brings the total number of units of the Dead Rising franchise shipped worldwide to an impressive four million.
Developers working on Dead Rising 2, both from Capcom and Blue Castle Games, speak about the ‘legacy’ of Dead Rising and how Dead Rising 2 is really being made for Western audiences by a Western developer, while retaining the things that made the original game so much fun, but at the same time adding some cool new features (like the weapon crafting system seen in previous videos).
