If you thought the singleplayer campaign for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty was good, then Blizzard will probably be saying “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet” right up until the release of the next entry to the sequel saga, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
Blizzard’s (now) annual BlizzCon event this past weekend was a treasure trove for new information on Diablo III and World of Warcraft, but the developer managed to surprise a few of us with the full reveal of a new DOTA game.
Blizzard DOTA will feature collections of classic Blizzard characters going head-to-head in magical battles for the amusement of two “dark and terrible gods,” one of which happens to be red, and the other, blue.
In addition to announcing a new expansion pack for World of Warcraft this weekend, Blizzard revealed the collector’s edition for the developer’s early 2012 action RPG, Diablo III, while releasing a jaw-dropping new cinematic trailer and detailing how certain members of its community will automatically get the game for free.

During BlizzCon 2011 over the weekend, Blizzard Entertainment confirmed that a fourth expansion pack for the developer’s World of Warcraft is in development and will add a new race, continent, class and level cap to its massively multiplayer online RPG.
