A demo for Disney Interactive Studio’s action racing game, Split/Second, will be arriving on the US PlayStation Store today.
The demo is set in the Airport location and the track features “some incredible moments that YOU can trigger – including a navigational radar dish that explodes off its base and a tram that slams into a parking structure creating some real shock waves on the track.”
Disney Interactive Studios has released an interesting new ‘Making of’ video for their upcoming action racing game, Split/Second.
The video sees the developers discussing Tracks and Cars, revealing how each map will feature split routes which can be opened by triggering the Power Plays (which may destroy not only your opponents but the environment too) and then how each lap will change as a result of these.
Disney Interactive has released a new featurette video for its upcoming action racer Split/Second, this one detailing the game’s Survival mode.
Survival mode is a points based mode that can be enjoyed in single player, split-screen and online multiplayer. Players drive around a closed circuit racing against the clock, passing giant rigs that drop explosive barrels behind them – blue ones to slow you down and red to cause an instant wreck.
A new trailer for upcoming action racing game Split/Second has been released, showing off explosive gameplay as players take out opponents and create shortcuts after destroying the environment with Power Plays.
A demo for the game just landed on Xbox Live, giving gamers the chance to try out the airport level from the game before Split/Second hits shelves on the 18th of May in North America and on the 21st of May in Europe, on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

It appears as though the action racing game Split/Second will be getting an Xbox 360-exclusive demo a little later this week, giving us a taste of the ‘airport’ level from the game.
The news comes courtesy of Split/Second’s director, Nick Baynes, during an appearance on Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb’s Xbox podcast:
