Whoa, what’s this? Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has today been added to Xbox LIVE’s Games on Demand digital download service, flanked by two other military combat games in the form of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and Battlestations: Midway?
If you’ve never heard of these titles (like that’s even possible with Call of Duty), you can head on down below to watch some classic trailers from when they were still younglings, and read through some official information from the front lines:
The latest Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week has been announced to be a price reduction on a pack of add-on content for Battlestations: Midway.
Xbox LIVE Gold members will be able to get the Battlestations: Midway Iowa Mission Pack for 320 MS Points, as opposed to the previous price point of 400 MS Points, which Major Nelson points out is a 20% saving. What do you get in the pack?
“… a massive new multiplayer map ‘Battle of the Sibuyan Sea’ a new single player challenge mission ‘Raid On Truk’, and 5 exclusive new units – the legendary USS Iowa battleship, P-38 Lightning (Allied) and Gekko (Japanese) fighters, the IJN Shimakaze Destroyer as well as a totally new unit type - the Japanese mini-sub.”
Sounds like a lot of content for 320 Space Bucks. Go ahead and spoil yourself for once!
