Nintendo Europe has unveiled an extensive release schedule detailing what games we can expect to see on the Wii and DS in the coming months, up to and including the third quarter of this calendar year (‘July to September’ to its friends).

Highlights of the list include… uh, let’s see here… Metroid: Other M, Dragon Quest IX, Last Window… maybe PES 2011, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock… perhaps Batman: The Brave and the Bold… possibly Def Jam Rapstar… I don’t know. I’m no psychic.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold Image

There’s a new Batman videogame on the horizon, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, slated to release in September this year on DS and Wii and based on the animated TV series of the same name, and while it’s not the dark and dank Batman we know and love from Batman: Arkham Asylum, it looks incredibly light and fun, based on the ‘classic’ Batman of yesteryear.

Batman: The Brave and the BoldWarner Bros. has teamed up with DC Comics to bring yet another Batman game to fans.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold The Videogame will be based on the popular animated TV series and will be available this autumn for the Wii and DS.

The game is aimed at kids, allowing them to play alongside the Caped Crusader as one of his allies (Robin, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle and Aquaman) and take on the villains of the DC Universe, or team up with friends in the two player co-op mode.
