Following the events of Batman: Arkham City, Harley Quinn is more psychotic than ever: She’s out for revenge!
As a small teaser for the recently announced ‘Harley Quinn’s Revenge’ downloadable content for the game, Rocksteady has sent out a debut, dedicated trailer featuring a brooding Quinn, no doubt plotting The Batman’s downfall.
When Harley Quinn’s Revenge releases on May 29th over Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, she may just have the last laugh after all:
The onset of the weekend has mostly positive connotations, and for PC gamers these good vibes are only amplified when there’s a Steam sale underway!

Surely the 2012 edition of the BAFTA Game Awards were cleaned up by Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skryim, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3 and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?
Nope.
In fact, after receiving a number of nominees for this year’s awards ceremony, none of them received a single final nod, while titles like Portal 2, Battlefield 3 and Batman: Arkham City swept up most of the awards at the show.
You can read through the full list of nominees over here, and compare them to the final list of BAFTA Game Awards winners below:
The nominees for the videogame segment of this year’s BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) awards have been announced in a mighty list of categories spanning ‘Action,’ ‘Artistic Achievement,’ ‘Debut Game’ and many, many more.
Included in the lists are mainstay award winners such as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham City, LA Noire, Bastion, Battlefield 3 and others, but the question is, which game are you rooting for?
This ultra-prestigious award ceremony will take place on March 16th, with a live-stream happening on the BAFTA games website, but for now, here is the full, massive list of nominees for 2012’s BAFTA Game Awards:
Batman has to be the best type of hero. He doesn’t have special powers (unless wealth counts as a super power). It means just about any one of us can dream to be a superhero with having to be bitten by a spider or be from another planet. Controlling Batman in a game and still having fun has eluded us for many years. Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of the first to let us convincingly fill the shoes of Batman.
I expected the sequel to that game to flop as they would not change enough, and because of the open world. Batman enjoys freedom of movement though and I was very soon proven to be wrong on all fronts: Batman: Arkham City is truly a great game.

The Batman is one of the greatest fictional characters ever created - this fact isn’t debatable. Batman: Arkham City is one of the greatest action adventure games ever created - this fact, too, isn’t up for discussion.
Logically, then, the resultant promotional items from both the comic book and game series is some of the greatest swag ever created.
Nu Metro and El33tonline gave our readers a chance to snag some of this awesome stuff, and here are the winners:
All of this talk about Batman has seriously got me excited to jump into Batman: Arkham City again.
But some other Batman news I stumbled upon that I’m sure you’re all going to enjoy is the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, the conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.
The Dark Knight Rises sees Christian Bale reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/The Batman, while Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle), Mario Cotillard (Miranda Tate), Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon), Tom Hardy (Bane), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake), Michael Cane (Alfred) and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox) add extra sizzle to this all-star cast.
Rocksteady Studios will be releasing a new Batman skin for Batman: Akham City tomorrow.
The new Batsuit skin, which is a gift from the developer to say thanks for everybody’s support, will be available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Games for Window Marketplace tomorrow for free.
You may not believe it, but the annual Spike Video Game Awards isn’t actually all about revealing exciting new games, nor is it centred on providing looks at upcoming titles.
No, the Spike Video Game Awards are about awards! Well, mostly anyway.
The release of Batman: Arkham City may have come and gone, but gamers the world over are still talking about Rocksteady’s amazing action adventure title - it’s an effortless Game of the Year contender!
To continue the Batmania and reward a few of the Batman fans amongst us, El33tonline and Nu Metro are giving away Batman: Arkham City comics and keychains that look a little something like this:

There’s a new challenger to the Xbox LIVE Activity crown and it has appeared in the most unlikely of forms.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has become the third most played game over Xbox LIVE during the week of November 21st, slotting in behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at No. 1 and Call of Duty: Black Ops at No. 2.
Where does this leave Battlefield 3?
EA and DICE’s game is relegated to No. 4 this week ahead of FIFA 12, and interestingly following Modern Warfare 3’s release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has slipped down to No. 6.

Both hardware and software sales saw revenue increases as compared to the same reporting period last year, but accessories dropped by 5%.
