It seems as though today is the day for confirmation, as Nintendo has revealed that the company’s upcoming 3DS will indeed be region-locked, which means those of you eager to import the stereo 3D handheld (and its games) from lands afar will be found wanting when it comes time to play games officially sold and distributed in your local region.
Ben Creasey has announced on the European PlayStation Blog that the PlayStation music video service, Vidzone, has recently launched a new service called VidZone TV to offer “a different way to enjoy VidZone.”
Creasey writes in a blog post:
