Two hours of all-new content? New weapon upgrades, armour, outfits and multiplayer characters? New answers to help fill in gaps in the mysterious story of Assassin’s Creed?
It’s time to grab ‘The Lost Archive’ downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations off of Xbox LIVE Marketplace!
At the completion of Assassin’s Creed Revelations, when all has been revealed, you find that the only real thing to keep your assassin needs fulfilled is the multiplayer. Soon though you will have that lingering feeling that you need more. Anticipating this craving, Ubisoft has released a downloadable content map pack to satiate that need.
The Mediterranean Traveller is an apt name for this DLC. As an assassin you travel between a few Mediterranean cities performing your multiplayer assassinations. The pack includes six maps; three new ones, and three maps from the multiplayer portion of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

Downloadable content over Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network with things like add-on packs, map packs and character and item additions (and anything else you can think of) is now commonplace in the world of videogames and has come a long way since the laughable ‘horse armour incident’ with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Nowadays, we mostly just hop online and get the latest patch or buy the latest content, but this past week we’ve seen two ‘new’ ways for us to experience that content with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, so our Question of the Day is:
What DLC delivery innovations do you want to see?
Ubisoft has announced today that the Mediterranean Traveller map pack for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is now available for download over Xbox LIVE for Xbox 360, as well as for PC gamers.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is set to receive a whopping six additional multiplayer maps this month when The Mediterranean Traveller map pack goes live for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gamers.
At its best, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will make you feel like an untouchable assassin during times when things were still simple, but at its worst, you’ll get a sense of déjà vu, kind of like you have been there before, killed that guard before and clambered up this building before.
In-between these moments you will encounter a few scenarios that will shock you and awe you: You will be awed by how much detail can be crammed into a city the size of Constantinople, but you will be shocked that Ubisoft is getting a bit desperate and trying its hand at tower defence mini-games.

Want to spice up your Assassin’s Creed: Revelations multiplayer experience with new characters? Well, it just so happens that a character pack for the game has just been released on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, so that works out.
Sales tracking firm The NPD Group has just released its latest report concerning the US videogame industry, this time for the month of November 2011, revealing sales across hardware, software and accessory market segments to be flat year-over-year as revenue rose just 0.4% to roughly $3 billion compared to $2.99 billion in November 2010.
We know everyone is very excited to hear who won an amazing, jaw-dropping Assassin’s Creed: Revelations hamper with El33tonline’s recent competition, so we’re not going to delay the announcement any further…
…except to give a massive thanks to Ubisoft South Africa and Rene Fraser for providing the hamper - it truly is amazing!
And to say thanks to everybody for entering this competition and telling us your favourite features of Assassin’s Creed!
OK, enough stalling!
The final chapters of the stories of Ezio and Altair draw to a close in this monumental adventure that promises more looting, shooting and recruiting than ever before. The fourth iteration of the Assassins Creed series, dubbed Revelations, brings you closer to the action and the characters with refined controls, breath-taking environments and an epic story to tie up the loose ends left by the previous titles.
