Three new games have gone up on Xbox LIVE’s Games on Demand service, allowing you to buy and download fairly recent, current generation titles from the comfort of your living room… or bedroom… or wherever you stash your Xbox 360.
Army of Two, Midnight Club: LA and Sonic Unleashed are the lucky games to arrive on the service, and you can find out a little bit more about the games with trailers for each title, including pricing for your region, below:
SCEA has announced that six new PS3 titles will join the Greatest Hits catalogue. Starting from the 16th of June, the titles listed below will be available for $29.99 across North America.
The new list of PS3 Greatest Hits includes:
- Army of Two (EA)
- Battlefield: Bad Company (EA)
- Devil May Cry 4 (Capcom)
- Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (SCEA)
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Konami)
- Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (SCEA)

The Veteran Map Pack for EA’s third person co-op shooter Army of Two will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 tomorrow.
The free downloadable content will include two new co-op campaign maps as well as an enhanced multiplayer map. It features “dynamic and interactive environments including destructible objects that were not available in the retail version.”
The first map will see players finding and destroying the central hub of a militia in a subway station in Kiev. Players will get the chance to take out Dalton, Rios and Salem’s ex-boss in the second map which is set in SSC headquarters in Miami. Finally two-on-two teams can battle it out in the China Canal Lock map.
The Veteran Map Pack will be available on the 29th of May in North America and Europe on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.
The demo for Army of Two is scheduled to go live today on Xbox Live.
That’s according to EA’s official forums where Assistant Producer Matt Turner commented “So for those of you that have yet to give our game a whirl you can download it off Xbox live and take it for a test run. It’s the training and first map of the game so it gets you familiar with the systems and then lets you get a taste of the combat.”
“We figured that now is as good a time as any to get it out there. It will be free, of course, and waiting to entice you like a piece of raw meet dangling over an alligator pond…jumping, snapping, being generally menacing until you grab it and take it deep under water for a good ol’ fashion death roll… animals!” he continued.
Turner also announced that a new multiplayer map and two new campaign maps would be arriving in the “not too distant future.” Players can also look forward to a future content update titled SCC Challenge Mode which is an obstacle course for mercenaries.
