You may have a heard that the Japanese version of Ridge Racer for PS Vita didn’t include a whole lot of content from the get-go. The game was priced cheaper than other Vita titles as buyers were expected to beef up the experience by purchasing DLC cars and tracks as they became available.
Thankfully Namco Bandai Games has rethought its strategy for the game’s release in the West. For a limited time retail and digital copies of Ridge Racer will come with a ‘Gold Pass’ which grants you access to downloadable content worth around £6. The free DLC includes three courses, five cars and some classic Ridge Racer tunes.
The Gold Pass will only be bundled with the digital version of the game up until March 31st.
Ridge Racer will be available on the same day PS Vita launches worldwide - February 22nd.
Does the Ridge Racer Gold Pass sway your vote towards picking it up on launch day? Let us know in the comments.

Good news, I was worried about how slim Ridge Racer Vita was going to be. Those additions don't really sound like a whole lot extra, but as long as the game is priced accordingly I don't think gamers will have a problem... (wishful thinking)
Now that is very Interesting. I love Ridge Racer and it looks sweet on the PS Vita. Will have a look at this when I own a Vita. Plus I"m looking forward to Ridge Racer Unbound.....now that is going to be pure awesomeness.
