We all love Portal 2. And we all love Skyrim too (see what I did there?). Apparently these games love each other as well because Bethesda and Valve have teamed up to create a mod for Skyrim that includes a little character from Portal 2.

In ‘Fall of the Space Core, Vol. 1’ you’re introduced to a rather familiar character from Portal 2. This space core will follow you around Tamriel and will keep you entertained!

The mod is one of the first available through the newly released Creation Kit and Steam Workshop. To show you how easy it is to use mods with Workshop support you simply need to click on the ‘Subscribe’ button from within Steam and the mod will install itself.

The developers also make mention of a special feature added to Skyrim that is best left to the words of this mod’s description page:

“Also, since Skyrim was the only major release of 2011 without Nolan North in it, you should consider this mod a patch to fix that problem. You can now feel free to include Skyrim in the ‘Nolan North’ section of your video game library, which is to say, your video game library.”
