It’s funny how we get one day closer to the launch of Sony’s PS Vita with every day that passes, but regardless of the complex science and maths involved in that particular equation, it’s plain to see our excitement for the release of the gaming handheld on February 22nd!
In past Questions of the Day, we’ve gauged your excitement levels for the device, asked about which games you’re most excited for and which features you think are the most useful, but today we’re asking:
What franchises do you want to see on the PS Vita?
We’ve already got major game franchises like Uncharted, WipEout, FIFA, MotorStorm, Ridge Racer, Resistance, Final Fantasy and more set to appear on the super bright 5-inch OLED screen in the near future, but what else do you think would make a good transition to the device, what with its raft of features, handheld nature and smaller display?
Full-on action games are now easily possible with the PS Vita’s dual analog sticks and well-placed buttons, so which game series do you think would suit the handheld best?

Resident Evil would be cool I think, and possibly even Ratchet & Clank....
I think they should do another God Of War or Killzone on the PS Vita, I'm not that Big into my PS games, but they were good on the PSP. but Imagine what God Of War would look like on a OLED screen.
If Sony can get back Crash Bandicoot ,now that would fit nicely on the Vita.
Ooo, I didn't even think about Crash Bandicoot. That would be awesome. But it must be in the style of Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3. (Platformer)
Patapon! That could use the touch screen to give commands. God of War for sure. A new Burnout game that plays like Burnout 3, thats the only racing game i enjoy. King of fighters and Guilty Gear. Thats all i can think of now
Hot dang yes! Patapon would be amazing on the Vita - nice pick!
Crash Bandicoot would also be cool - the possibilities of a platformer (either 3D or 2D) and the touch screen/panel are exciting!
Personally, I'd like to see how a new GTA translates to the Vita. I played GTA3 on the PSP, but it was a nightmare without dual analog sticks.
GTA3 on the android Tablet is pretty awesome. controls are good. but I know what you mean about the dual analog sticks.
Ratchet and Clank. That is all.
God of War, Twisted Metal, and Marvel Pinball immediately come to mind.
Marvel Pinball, excellent choice! What a perfect fit for the platform ;)
GTA and Ratchet and Clank are also great choices, but they would need to be custom created for shorter play sessions, I reckon, like the 'City Stories' series on PSP.
Klonoa & Legacy of Kain franchises, just because these two franchises deserve to show up again!
And maybe a Vita exclusive Plants vs. Zombies. I imagine the creators must have good ideas for the game to utilize the touchscreen and rear touch pad.
