If you want to remain ‘pure’ as far as future Mass Effect 3 downloadable content and story details are concerned, proceed no further.

If you’re not concerned about any of that stuff, continue on down below:

A few minor details on future Mass Effect 3 downloadable content has been leaked on Xbox LIVE Marketplace after an entry briefly became available on the service.

Titled ‘From Ashes,’ the DLC will apparently let Mass Effect 3 players “Unearth lost secrets from the past and recruit the Prothean squad member.”

Not long after the information leaked, BioWare Associate Producer Michael Gamble took to the official forums to confirm the information, writing:

“Hi all!

“We’re happy to confirm that Mass Effect 3: From Ashes DLC will be available at launch for all platforms. For those of you who have purchased the N7 Collector’s Edition (including the PC Digital Deluxe Edition), you will get this content at no extra charge. We’ll have a lot more details for you later this week! Stay Tuned!”

So, a nice short and sweet resolution to the ‘saga,’ but there’s still a bit of a spoiler in there for people who might not want to know. But now you know. Congratulations.

Mass Effect 3 is out on March 6th in the US and March 9th in Europe and everywhere else across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

El33tonline’s vast previous coverage of the game (including our looks at the demo) will keep you in good company until the game’s release.
