Battlefield Friday started off a bit slow, with me going it alone in the battlefield and claiming some kills and one set of tags off of some n00b. Then my call for back-up was answered as Oltman joined the squad!

We started our first round by attacking the enemies on Caspian Border. We got hold of a tank and were destroying everything in our way while we were chatting about home security. We successfully won the round and then were given the challenge of defending our M-COM stations. We luckily spawned in the match right next to the tanks and taking one each, we made our moves.

Shortly after that I started blowing up Humvee’s and a tank before my tank got blown up by the enemy. Luckily I escaped, but was taken out by a sniper shortly after.

We sadly lost the first two M-Com stations and were defending the second set of stations, which is when Brattex joined in on the fun. To begin with, he couldn’t join in the action as the server was full - he just sat there complaining that me and Oltman should stop speaking in Afrikaans and speak a language he understands, like English. So we did.

Two spots opened up on the server and he joined in with Griff3nZA, too - we were a four man army to be reckoned with! Unfortunately, I had some gun malfunctions towards the end of the match as I kept selecting the wrong weapons, but we managed to win the round by defending the last M-Com station.

The next match we were the US attackers again on Operation Métro - all I can say is we were the team to beat. I think our team comprised three support classes and one engineer. We kept reviving each other as we were pinned down for a few moments until Griff3nZA and I flanked them and we reached our objectives - needless to say, we had a very successful night. We kept seeing Oltman towards the bottom of the list… we just couldn’t figure out why…

I sadly dropped out of our last round as I had some technical issue as my Xbox decided to freeze up on me. The sad thing is we where defending so well.

During the matches, however, I managed to protect my tags, and add six tags to my collection.
