The world of competitive online gaming is actually, well, very competitive! Imagine that! And right here at El33tonline we have a few p33ps who constantly claim that they are the best of the best. Whether that comes to claiming your tag snatching ability is superior or if it is about your prowess with a shotgun, we all think we are the best.

Nothing shows you who the best players are better than a few statistics logs, however, and in this weekly report I will analyse all players participating in the Battlefield Friday sessions, or are fans of the El33t_P33ps platoon.

We simply have to know who is the best of the best!

Battlefield 3 has an amazingly detailed online statistics tracking system. Battlelog.battlefield.com will show you all the stats you could possibly need, apart from a list of people whose tags you have stolen. This will be my source of information when searching for our top players.

To start off I only took details of the players I am familiar with and whose stats I could find on the Battlelog website. Please let me know if you would like your stats to be tracked, and I will add them to the next report.

Some statistics on Battlelog will be a bit skewed and will thus not really feature in determining our top players. If you have been playing for 170 hours it is pretty likely that you will have more kills than the guy who has played 17 minutes. What is important though is how many times you died in comparison to those kills you achieved.

Let us begin by looking at the top five ranks of our El33t P33ps:

• Bro October: 53

• Mujabees: 50

• CrazyErick: 49

• Fullmetal MDK: 46

• Brattex: 30

Coming in at the top rank at 53 is quite the amazing feat. To put that into perspective, it took Bro October 170 hours to accomplish this! That is just over a week of non-stop playing! In fact, everyone apart from Brattex in the top five has clocked in more than 120 hours of Battlefield 3. Astounding!

But how you use that time is a different story. Let’s have a look at the score per minute statistic to see who is using their time more efficiently:

• MacDeath_ZA: 422

• Mujabees: 391

• CrazyErick: 380

• Bro October: 346

• POItjie: 302

We can see that even though MacDeath_ZA is only ranked at 23 and POItjie at level 26, they still make the top five list! They are therefore more effectively managing their time online!

How well do these players play in a team? How can these high statistics assist their team in achieving their ultimate goal of winning the round? Have a look at the win/loss ration below and find out.

• Bro October: 1.68

• Fullmetal MDK: 1.58

• RDMZN: 1.38

• Mujabees: 1.36

• CrazyErick: 1.13

It is clear that if you want to win the rounds you need to stick with these guys!

A very big part of achieving your goals in Battlefield 3 relies on killing the enemy. Unfortunately dying also plays a big part. Who of the El33t P33ps has the highest kill to death ratio?

• Mujabees: 1.846

• Bro October: 1.425

• Fullmetal MDK: 1.212

• CrazyErick: 0.996

• POItjie: 0.891

Amazingly only three players manage a positive ratio, which goes to show how hard it is to maintain more kills than deaths. Credit to Mujabees who manages almost a double kill for every death!

Does your weapon accuracy have anything to do with your kill ratio? Or does it simply mean that the more lead leaves your gun, the more chance you have of hitting something?

• oltman: 18.40%

• CrazyErick: 16.30%

• Bro October: 13.30%

• MacDeath_ZA: 13.10%

• Griff3nZA: 13.00%

According to this accuracy statistic I should be doing much better, but I think I am often dead before I get a chance to even pull the trigger, hence this statistic!

Accuracy should at least allow you to hit targets from far away, so what is the longest headshot these guys have achieved?

• Fullmetal MDK: 559

• Mujabees: 549

• Bro October: 529

• Smuroh: 284

• Griff3nZA: 239

Shooting someone in the head from across the map just goes beyond my understanding of accuracy. I am willing to bet these are either lucky shots, or I will have to watch my back wherever I am on any of the maps!

For those of us who cannot shoot long distance we have our knife statistic. Who has knifed the most people and thus stole the most tags?

• Bro October: 267

• Mujabees: 125

• Fullmetal MDK: 117

• Griff3nZA: 105

• POItjie: 92

That is a lot of blood on the ground, but since some of these guys have been playing a lot longer than others, I have come up with my own statistic: knife kills per minute (thanks to Brattex for suggesting this!)

So who is our most frequent silent assassins? This is the gap in minutes between every knife kill.

• POItjie: 22

• Griff3nZA: 27

• MacDeath_ZA: 35

• Bro October: 38

• Smuroh: 39

POItjie kills someone with his knife every 22 minutes. I think we need to show him how to use his guns too!

Finally, Battlelog has its own skill aggregator, but I have no idea how it is calculated. According to this number we can deduce that the following players makes it to the top five. Who can argue with that? I am sure a lot of you can!

As a whole, the El33t P33ps have wreaked havoc! And there is more to come when I add all of the players to the statistics!
