It’s that time of the week again! I have just emerged from another deep search for great free games on the web, and today’s is a quality example of what we are looking for. We move back into casual gaming land with a title that is super simple and amazingly difficult at the same time.
Sunny Day Sky sees a little bear floating over moving cars and buses on a very busy road. It must be rush hour! He uses nothing but an umbrella and every time he opens it up he gains some altitude. He scores points for every car he passes and the game is over as soon as his feet touch the ground. If he lands on top of a car or bus he rakes in the points.
The little bear (is it even a bear? I think it is!) can only hold onto the umbrella for so long before he runs out of energy. We all know bears eat berries and the floating type of berries is just what a floating bear needs. Catching these berries is tricky as they only appear when you are low on energy, and if you miss them it means you normally plummet to the ground.
As if your energy levels were not enough to keep you on your toes, so to speak, you also need to beware the dreaded birds that fly into you and warp your umbrella. This will also cause you to fall like a rock. Luckily you can land on top of a vehicle by accident but this does not happen often and you cannot risk the points. The more cars you pass in succession the more points you get. You can only back the bonus points every time you land though.
Sunny Day Sky is one of those rare games where skill and luck come together in prefect harmony. It’s pretty, the music is soothing and at the end of a hard day it’s incredibly relaxing and yet a bit addictive to the point of obsession.
The score in my screenshot is not that great. I remember being able to get over a million with ease. But that was a long time ago. With some practice this score will be easily be beaten, so let’s see who can get the highest score out of our p33ps!

Dang... that is addictive! And difficult! I could barely (... bearly...) break quadruple figures!
Thanks Oltman, this is an awesome fr33bie! ;)
This sounds interesting. I'm going to give it a try now. as it will prepare my mind to focus on the objective......get everyone's tags tonight and protect mine and my teams......Oltman I'm coming for your tag....have them gift wrapped for me when I get there.
This game is addictive....I just managed to get 7490 over 123 cars. I'm trying to improve my score now.
Damn man. This is a really challanging game. Even having simple clicking controls doesnt make it any easier

Ok, I'm stopping this game now. I'll try again later today. My last score was: 71200 over 118cars. Oltman, you really have a skill at finding the most addictive games...I thank you.
the trick is to know when to land on a car and when to try and push through to the next red cherrie :) i thought you guys would break my score easily and was afraid i did not set a high enough bar. come now POItjie, i know can do better than that. otherwise there is no way my tags are yours!
Well If I knew what score I'm trying to beat then I'll be more motivated, but give me time, I will hit half a mil today. that is my target for today.
O and Oltmans tags on the battlefield....and brattex...and oliver....and anybody I can get hold of.
