In the very first Chart Track UK Software Sales listing of 2012, EA manages to clinch both first and second places in the chart with FIFA 12 (sales down 63%) and Battlefield 3 (sales also down 63%).
Battlefield 3 swaps places with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (sales down 76%), switching between No. 2 and No. 3, and we may just see these two titans of the videogame world continue to trade blows for the rest of the month as EA’s title gains more traction and sales of Activision’s shooter wane (marginally).
Just Dance 3 (sales down 67%) follows in FIFA 12’s footsteps and is a non-mover at No. 4, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (sales down 55%) skips up to No. 5 from No. 8, Zumba Fitness (sales up 11%) zooms up the chart to No. 6 from No. 19, and Need For Speed: The Run (sales down 68%) is another stubborn title at No. 7.
Saints Row: The Third (sales down 72%) meanwhile steps down to No. 8 from No. 6, RAGE (sales up 41%) moves up from No. 12 to No. 9 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (sales down 79%) tumbles to No. 10 from No. 5.

Comments:
I'm not surprised that MW3 is now in third place, I mean almost everyone in the world's already bought it anyway ;)
go battlefield go, its an awesome game and I think we can't aay it enough. glad to see zumba fitness back at number 5. i think the release of the second one boosted the sales of the first one. as i would like to get both for the wife.
Hey, Rayman Origins made the top 20 at last! Probably because it's been cut to half price already, though.
Excellent news indeed - price cuts, promotions, whatever Ubisoft needs to do to get this game into more homes!
Nice list, glad to see EA and Ubisoft doing well, a little sad ACR has dropped of the top 20
