The first PlayStation Store update of the new year offers plenty of worthwhile new content to add to your virtual basket. PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy two free PSN games (Back to the Future: The Game and Swords & Soldiers) as well as the complete Syphon Filter trilogy from the PSone Classics collection.

TNT Racers ($9.99) and NFL Blitz ($14.99) are the two new PSN releases this week; both sporting highly entertaining multiplayer modes to sink your teeth into.

The digital version of Darksiders ($19.99) is another new addition to the Store and boasts one of the most enjoyable campaigns in the third-person action/adventure genre if the critics are to be believed.

If you’re a Resistance 3 fan, be sure to pick up the three free add-ons which are now available on the Store and look set to enhance both the single-player and multiplayer components of this excellent game.
