Comments:
This is a series i haven't gotten into yet or own for that matter, but I have to say Mass Effect 3 is looking really good, the movements are so smooth. But I willl have to give this a game a miss for now. I'll save my pennies for Diablo 3 CE as I really want that. I'll give this series a try in the near future.
I just hope they clean up the issue from the other two, i wasnt a big fan of all the reading it pulls you out of the story
CANNOT... WAIT... FOR THIS...
I need to check if BT Games do pre-orders for the limited edition. I want all those goodies.
I also still need to get me some MS Points to do all the other little DLC's for ME2.
So much gaming to do so little time!
I really don't like retailer exclusive DLC, but a few weapons don't make much of a difference to me.
I've got the N7 version of the game on pre-order, Kalahari sent me a R250 voucher for being such a good customer last year, so I put that towards it :)
I just read that the Pre-Order bonuses are US only and its unconfirmed for other areas. Hope this is not true for you guys.
I wouldn't be suprised if we didn't get them. We didn't get any of the retailer specific cars in Forza 4 in SA, either. Fortunately, like I said, I'm not going to be too unhappy about losing out on a weapon.
I love the Mass Effect series bought all the DLCs some were crap but the rest were ACE. I am so going to pre order this game. @Poitjie you must get this one of the best RPG series, the only thing i hated was the resource gathering ME1 boring as hell,ME2 a little quicker but still boring.
I bought ME2 last year Jan for R99 and I played it and immediately dismissed it. After a month or two, I went back to it and fell in love with it. As I said many times before, it's the most emotional game EVER; felt like a lady for a moment... Er, ignore that last part. o_o
But yeah, I won't get ME1, but I can safely say that I'm an official fan. And I'm happy as hell that the N7 edition is so reasonably priced. Buy ALL the ME3!
When I was playing Mass Effect 1, a friend asked what it was like, and this was the best description I had:
Mass Effect is a brilliant graphic adventure disguised as a mediocre RPG disguised as a rubbish action game.
And when I say a mediocre RPG, I'm talking in video game terms (levelling, skill selection, inventory management, etc). In terms of the literal meaning (ie playing a role), it's probably one of the best games out there.
GaatY BT Games should do pre-orders cause a friend of mine ordered it from them recently ...
To all you p33ps that played ME1, didn't like it and skipped ME2, you're really missing out. ME2 has one of the most amazing stories in a game I've seen for a looong time.
I actually Pre-Ordered my Collector's Edition copy today at BT Games. But now a buddy is telling me its been cancelled. Me needs to investigate...
