Activision and Radical Entertainment are dialling up the excitement for the pair’s Prototype 2 by announcing a special limited edition offer that will net players extra pieces of content delivered over seven weeks following the launch of the game in April.
If you decide to purchase the RADNET Edition of Prototype 2, you’ll be eligible to download 55 pieces of additional game content over Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network over a seven week period.
These extras will run the gamut of content including in-game events, new challenges, Avatar items, dynamic themes and behind-the-scenes videos, with bonus ‘Mutations’ being promised for use in Prototype 2’s main campaign, too.
“Fans that participate in all of RADNET’s weekly challenges and events will unlock the ultimate shape-shifting reward…to be revealed in March 2012.”
Oh Activision, you’re such a tease!
Studio Head Radical Entertainment Ken Rosman said of the offer:
“Radical Entertainment has always focused on bringing long lasting fun to its fans, and PROTOTYPE 2’s RADNET content is our way of rewarding the game’s most loyal supporters – the early adopters, the one’s who will replay it over and over again.
“We think this is great because we’re giving our fans hours of additional gameplay outside PROTOTYPE 2’s main narrative, and cool rewards – all delivered weekly following the game’s launch!”

Comments:
This is a very nice edition. But i'm not so sure about this game, as the first one got me bit bored as it was the same thing over and over, but i'll give it another try. this game does look good.
I'm yet to play Prototype 1. Was watching a buddy play it once. I was hooked. When the price drops a bit I'll add it to my collection :P
GaatY I bought Prototype during the Steam sale for about R40 :P
This is actually a pretty sweet deal as it will increase the lifespan of the game (if the DLC is any good, that is)
