Now that we know which games and downloadable content performed the best over the PlayStation Network in terms of sales last year, a list of top-selling Xbox LIVE Arcade games for 2011 has recently been published, revealing Ubisoft’s From Dust and Microsoft’s Full House Poker as the leaders by revenue and unit sales, respectively.

Comments:
I wonder how they got those numbers, I'm not sure Microsoft would have given them out. Makes me wonder about the accurracy.
I'm glad From Dust took in so much, I really enjoyed it, thought it felt very different from most games out there, but at the same time pleasingly reminiscent of god games of old.
Castle Crashers is still selling strongly after 4 years on the marketplace, that's a great result for The Behemoth. Now if they'd just hurry up and release Battleblock Theatre.
I'm somewhat surprised to see Daggerdale on the list, considering it was almost universally considered to be a buggy mess.
Overseas, it seems as though Daggerdale was pretty well received (from podcast talk and general internet chatter), but the consensus is that it's pretty messy, for sure.
This analyst company regularly releases sales information regarding Xbox LIVE Arcade and Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Microsoft hasn't stopped them yet, so I've always thought it was accurate and/or official. If MS steps in an debunks the list, then we'll know.
I still haven't played From Dust... dang. ;(
Also looking forward to Battleblock Theatre, but with sales of CC still going strong, they can take their time (unfortunately and fortunately) - release it already! ;)
