According to the latest chilling trailer for Darksiders II, Death has accompanied humanity since the beginning of time and has been present to do his disturbing ‘work’ at key moments in our history, with or without our knowledge.
If he was wielding giant claw weapons, however, I’m sure we would have noticed him bounding about the battlefields of World War II.

Incredible new screenshots - cannot wait for this game! I love how the trailers for this game haven't concentrated on gameplay, but really serve to set the mood of the game so well with words and music.

I completely agree Lisa, they're really setting Death up as a real character and personality before showing off what he can do in combat. I enjoy knowing about a character's backstory before getting into a game because it makes that character much more affecting while playing.

I really need to get my hands on the first game and I have to get this one. this game is going to be awesome. who here can give me Darksiders 1 to play, I promise I will give it back when I'm done.
Can't wait for this game either. Have finished Darksiders 1 with 100%. I'm just thinking though...
At the end of Darksiders 1, War's 3 brothers come falling down from the heavens. I'm wonder if we will be able to play each of them? Or does Darksiders 2 only focus on Death as Darksiders 1 only focused on War?
As far as I know we'll just be able to play as Death in Darksiders 2, much like we played as War in the first game. But good news is that it leaves room for Darksiders 3 and 4 with the other brothers!
I dunno but for some reason the 4 Horseman Brothers are reminding me of the 4 Ninja Turtle Brothers o_O
