EA Sports’ FIFA 12 has managed to appear at the top of Chart Track’s UK Software sales listing for the fifth time in a row, allowing the football sim to claim a total of seven weeks at No. 1 since release.
According to Chart Track, FIFA 12 “has already made more money than any other FIFA title or indeed any other sports title to date,” but the achievement of five consecutive No. 1 placements is still lower than a previously released FIFA title, ‘FIFA Road to World Cup 98,’ which racked up a whopping 11 weeks in a row at the top of the chart.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim shifts up to No. 2 from No. 3 last week, swapping places with Just Dance 3, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 continue to trade blows and finally exchange positions, as Activision’s game moves up to No. 4 from No. 5 last week.
Zumba Fitness is once again a non-mover at No. 6, Saints Row: The Third darts up to No. 7 from No. 14 and Zumba Fitness 2 slips down one place to No. 8. Interestingly, Rayman Origins zooms up to No. 9 from No. 17 (thanks to a timely price promotion) and RAGE steps down two places to No. 10.
