What do you need 7 days, 6 flights, 2 car hires as well as plenty of pizza and cream soda to achieve? The answer, of course, is three gamers meetups across South Africa.
The El33tonline team will kick the festivities off in our hometown Durban, where we will meet with some old friends and new at the DBNGamers’ second meetup tomorrow afternoon. There will be pizza, there will be cream soda, there will be prizes from EA, but most importantly there will be chatting to gamers from our neck of the woods and the exchanging of online battle stories.
From there we travel to Johannesburg where JHBGamers’ will be holding their second meetup on Wednesday night. We will be giving a short presentation, gifting the gamers with prizes from EA and Afrihost, and catching up with some online buddies as well as hopefully meeting some new ones too. EA South Africa will also be there, along with special guest EA community manager Brad Pidgeon from Australia.
The last leg of our cross-country tour is Cape Town, where we will once again join 2upGamers at their Third Encounter event on Friday night. Cape Town gamers were so awesomely friendly on our last visit, and we can’t wait to hang out with you all again and swop some more Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3 tales. EA South Africa will once again be in attendance, so get ready to be rocked with their fantastic line-up for this year.
The awesome gamers of South Africa have caught the eye of the international arena, let’s give them a warm welcome and make it a night to remember folks to make sure they come visit us again real soon!

Keep an eye on the 2upGamers' Facebook page for details. Registrations should open soon. So far all we know is that it's on Friday night, the 20th. It normally starts around 6ish, but the venue has yet to be confirmed.

Thanks for the update post folks :) JHBGamers meetup is going to be freaking awesome, It's our first event of the year, El33t and EA are making sure we kick it off large.

DBNGamers was a good meet-up nice to see some new faces, this time around i was late due to office meetings which im still dealing with all this week aswell.
