The Tokyo Game Show takes place from 15 - 18 September, and this year’s event looks set to provide plenty of thrills and unforeseen announcements. The Japanese love their videogames, and TGS is the industry’s way of stirring up all that fan fervour to fever pitch levels.
Sony is a colossus on Japan’s gaming landscape, and thus dozens of titles will be playable for PS3, PSP and PS Vita at this year’s event. There’ll also be plenty of new games being announced, so your best chance of seeing these reveals first is to tune into the live broadcast of Sony’s press conference on September 14th - the day before TGS gets underway.
Exact details for the broadcast, including where on the net you’ll be able to watch it and what time it starts, will be available on Sony’s TGS website from September 9th. The site hasn’t been updated since 2010’s show, but that should change by tomorrow.
