Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge releasing a day early in South Africa

If you’ve already made plans to pick up Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge first thing on Thursday morning you may want to cancel them and move them forward by one day. That’s because the game’s distributor in South Africa - Megarom Interactive - has announced that they will release the title a day early due to “immense pressure and enthusiasm from fans and retailers alike”.

This means you can get the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of Rugby Challenge tomorrow (September 7th) as soon as your favourite retailer opens its doors to the marauding masses.

The revised release date should give you enough time to quickly edit the generic South African team to reflect the official squad, and win a virtual version of the World Cup before the real-world event has even begun.

Game looks excellent, hope they releas a demo later on, this isn;t really a must-have game unless I get a bit of hands-on time with it and see how much better it is than RWC (Challenge is scoring about 20% more than RWC at the moment).
