Drills are buzzing, vacuums vacuuming, the smell of fresh paint and glue lingers upon the air, as the sounds of videogames begin to filter through the cacophony of noise. Boxes are being unpacked, the last touches to stands being made and consoles are being set up. These are the sights and sounds of rAge that would greet you if you happened to stroll into the Cola Cola Dome today.

Of course by tomorrow any signs of the mad hustle and bustle would have disappeared, with extension cables, hardhats and ladders neatly packed away, leaving you to enjoy the wonders that the videogame industry has to offer you.

EA has a massive upcoming line-up and you’re be able to enjoy a number of these games at their stand. Get ready for Battelfield 3, Need for Speed: The Run, Mass Effect 3, FIFA 12, The Sims Pets and Grand Slam Tennis 2. Also look out for FIFA 12 at the Look and Listen stand.

Ster Kinekor has an impressive line-up as well, including Uncharted 3, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Resistance 3 and a whole bunch of PlayStation Move games.

Nintendo is right across the way from our stand so we saw the exciting items arriving throughout the setup period. The stand focuses on the Nintendo DS with a number of 3DS games in the spotlight, including Kid Icarus : Uprising, Mario Kart 7, Metal Gear Solid 3D, Resident Evil Revelations, Super Mario 3D Land. Meanwile you can test out Go Vacation Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword at the Look and Listen stand.
