This week’s US PS Store update is packed with free goodies for Plus members, as well as a number of noteworthy downloadable games and add-ons which are available to all users.

Someone at Naughty Dog was clearly feeling generous because every bit of DLC (at far as I can tell) for Uncharted 1 and 2 is being offered for free to PlayStation Plus members this week. This includes two map packs for UC2’s online multiplayer as well as four motion comics (‘Eye of Indra’) which depict a side-story featuring the ever-resilient Nathan Drake.

If you haven’t yet satiated your appetite for Resident Evil after last week’s release of RE4 HD, you may want to check out Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD. PS Plus members get 50% off the regular price ($19.99) and this special offer only lasts for two weeks. Code Veronica was the first time the main Resident Evil series boasted real-time backgrounds, and it also introduced a number of gameplay enhancements and tweaks over the PS1 titles (RE1 - 3).

Other downloadable games include the side-scrollers Rochard ($9.99) and Castlevania: Harmony Of Despair ($14.99), as well as the puzzler Mercury Hg ($4.99).

The most notable add-on this week is Dead Nation: Road of Devastation ($3.99) - the first DLC pack for the popular zombie twin-stick shooter. Featuring new environments, weapons, tools and trophies, this add-on seems like a decidedly worthwhile purchase for fans of Housemarque’s PSN hit.
