At last year’s Tokyo Game Show, Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned) announced a Kinect-exclusive game under the working title of ‘Codename D,’ with a few strange images and a weird trailer included to up the intrigue.
Fast-forward to this year’s edition of Tokyo Game Show and we now have further details on the game, including a real name.
Codename D is now known as ‘Diabolical Pitch,’ and wouldn’t you know it, the game is all about a baseball player who throws and hits balls at monstrous creatures shambling towards him.
Local co-operative play is also on the cards for Diabolical Pitch as two players will be required to use teamwork and strike different poses together for special attacks.
Additionally, Diabolical Pitch has now officially been revealed as a downloadable Xbox LIVE Arcade game, as opposed to a retail packaged title.
We’ll let you know more when we do.
