Last year 505 Games published Grease: The Game on Wii and DS. The game featured songs and dance routines from the 1978 musical, as well as a variety of entertaining multiplayer modes.
The Wii version was developed by British-based studio Zoë Mode, whose previous work includes the SingStar and EyeToy: Play franchises. Today 505 Games announced that the developer will be bringing Grease to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with Kinect and PS Move integration respectively.
The game will be out in North America on October 25th and in other territories on November 4th.
505 Games released the following press statement outlining Grease’s salient features:
Grease delivers the movie’s signature choreography and legendary songs, combined with today’s motion-sensor technology, so fans can dance and sing along to their favorite ‘Grease’ tunes including iconic anthems like “You’re the One That I Want”, “Greased Lightning” and “Summer Nights”. Grease allows players to sing or dance, either as a solo act or in a duet, or four players can team up to sing and dance together for a sensational musical performance!
Grease key features include:
SING!: The game features 15 song compositions from the original film and 5 bonus classic rock ‘n roll tracks.
DANCE!: Hours of fun with Rock ‘n’ Roll Routines from the movie, including duet choreography and freestyle sections where players can express their individuality and dance for increased points.
GAMEPLAY MODES: Game includes Dance Mode and Karaoke Mode, both of which have versus and co-operative play.
COOPERATIVE GAMEPLAY: Up to eight-players can compete in Party Mode (two teams of four players, consisting of 2 dancers and 2 singers at any one time.)
