The Humble Indie Bundle has been a great success, and the third edition of this bundle keeps getting better and better. See here for more coverage of just how good it has been, both to the developer and the charities they support.
For those not in the know, the Humble Bundle project runs every few months. A selection of high quality indie titles are available for ANY price. Yes, you the purchaser of said goods decide how much you think they are worth. You can purchase the bundle for as little as 1c, but be prepared to stay up with guilt!
The money you spend can be allocated to the developers and charities in a ratio you see fit. As of today they have sold more than 250 000 bundles for an average of more than $5 per bundle.
Last week we were all rewarded with an additional game, Steel Storm, not included in the original line-up. Yay for free bonuses!
This week it was announced that everyone who has previously purchased the Humble Indie Bundle 3 will receive the Humble Indie Bundle 2 absolutely free! In order to get in on the action if you have not bought the bundle yet, you have to buy the bundle for a price higher than the current average.
The Humble Indie Bundle 2 includes such classics as Braid and Machinarium. At around $5.20 its a steal for 11 great indie titles.
