With news of a fourth map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops surfacing today, Activision’s Dan Amrich sent out information and details on the content by way of an interview with Treyarch’s ‘creative lead for Zombies,’ Jimmy Zelinski.

If you were expecting a traditional Call of Duty map pack with Rezurrection, think again, because it’s all zombies all the time! And they’re in space?

They’re in space!

The first thing that you should know is that Rezurrection contains four remastered zombie mode maps from Call of Duty: World at War, namely Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese, while a fifth brand new map, Moon, has been added to the mix.

Rezurrection will be released on August 23rd on Xbox 360 for 1200 MS Points, but if you happened to pick up the Hardened or Prestige versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops, you’ll be eligible to get this new map pack for free on release.

With Rezurrection, according to Dan Amrich, you’ll be getting “five Zombies maps, a 20-song Zombies soundtrack, and a special [Xbox 360 Dashboard] Moon theme.”

A zombie soundtrack? Count us in!
