With the recent public release of a financial report to investors, Activision has revealed that a fourth map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops is currently in development.
It’s name? Resurrection… (Oh, sorry, let’s try that again.)
It’s name? Rezurrection.
Due for release this quarter (anywhere up until the end of September), the Rezurrection map pack for Black Ops will be launched on both Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Previously released map packs for Black Ops (First Strike, Escalation and Annihilation) were all made available on Xbox 360, first, with releases on the other two platforms at least a month later. If Activision and developer Treyarch follow this trend, we can expect a release of the Rezurrection map pack by the end of August on Xbox 360, followed by a release on PS3 and PC at the end of September.
Based on the previous three map packs, we can also expect Rezurrection to include four new multiplayer levels and a new zombie mode map, too.
Look forward to more information on Rezurrection for Call of Duty: Black Ops soon.
