Brink has been in desperate need of a bit of freshening up for a while now, despite the release of a few patches since its release in early May, and luckily for those of you who have stuck with Splash Damage and Bethesda’s multiplayer-based first-person shooter, the planned and promised ‘Agents of Change’ downloadable content is due for release this week across all platforms.
Available for download over Xbox LIVE, the PlayStation Network and Steam, Agents of Change will be offered for free to Brink players for two weeks following its release on August 3rd, after which time it will revert to a paid download for $9.99 over PSN and 800 MS Points over Xbox LIVE, so you’re advised to “get it early.”
A not inconsiderable patch will also be released alongside Agents of Change which will aim to fix a host of issues, including long-awaited improvements to networking and online performance across Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network. Also, a much-needed update to Brink’s bot AI (if you’re in need of some virtual team-mates) will be included in the next big update to the game – look forward to that!
Splash Damage and Bethesda have posted up a lengthy list of these updates, fixes, changes and improvements on the Bethesda blog, with looks at the new Trophies and Achievements that are being added with the new DLC – check those out over here while perusing the latest set of screenshots for Brink’s ‘Agents of Change’ content below:
