Insomniac Games has released an update on the Resistance 3 Beta, detailing when it’s launching and how gamers can get access.
The Friends and Family beta will kick off next week, giving the developer the chance to “test [their] servers before the mad rush of public beta users from SOCOM 4 and EU PlayStation Plus.”
According to a post on the developer’s website: “We will be updating our servers, configs and patching the beta during the course of it to be sure we’re ready for the public beta in August, as well as the release of Resistance 3 on September 6th. We expect to run this Friends and Family beta over the next few weeks.”
If you have an early access voucher to the public beta from specially-marked copies of SOCOM 4 in North America, or if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber in SCEE territories, you’ll be able to jump into the public beta which is “tentatively scheduled to being in early August.”
