North American PlayStation Home users received their ‘Welcome Back’ package early last month, but those of us in European territories have had to practise patience while Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) went about arranging complimentary content through its various partners.
The good news is that the ‘Welcome Back’ content is finally available for European Home users (including South Africans), and amounts to a pretty generous collection of odds and ends from many of the most prominent retailers in the PlayStation-themed virtual world that is Home.
The abbreviated list of freebies can be found below, and it’s worth noting that the free items will be available from the Home Square (with the exception of Go Fish) up until July 28th:
- Anime Style Apartment
- Anime themed clothing and furniture sets
- Paris Modern Office furniture set
- nDreams Big Bash party bundle
- nDreams Fantasy Fashion and Funkster costumes
- Aurora OrbRunner Booster Bundle
- A cuddly Stitchkins Bunny Toy from Lockwood
- A Midway Green ticket (50 plays)
- Cardboard Cartel Furniture from Codeglue
- Fortune Cookie active item
- A selection of Tops, Shirts, Skirts, High-top trainers and glasses
- Go Fish – a new, free-to-play fishing game based in the Shopping Centre
If you’ve never used Home before or rarely visit its motley collection of ‘Spaces,’ now might be a good time to go grab some free stuff and invite a couple of friends over to sample your new digs, get comfortable on recently acquired furniture, or check out your avatar’s fresh set of threads.
