News and media continue to trickle out for 505 Games and HB Studios’ upcoming Rugby World Cup 2011 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and this time two new screenshots have appeared from the ether featuring the Scottish and South African rugby teams locked in battle.

Releasing on August 26th this year across Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (and just in time for the real thing on September 9th), Rugby World Cup 2011 is the official game of this year’s rugby tournament in New Zealand and will feature all twenty of the participating countries, giving you a chance to take your favourite team through the competition to win the illustrious Webb Ellis Cup.
You’ll also be able to take the game online via Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network for a few one-on-one matches – the first time HB Studios has incorporated such a feature into one of its rugby games.
