Konami has just announced a European and UK release date for its upcoming football/soccer sim Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 (PES 2012 to its friends), and has additionally released a great trailer revealing the new ‘One on One’ feature included in the game.
PES 2012 will mark the release of Konami’s “most ambitious and advanced football experience ever,” with AI innovations, more control and gameplay additions that cover “every aspect of real football.”
First the (immediately) exciting bit: PES 2012 is due for release on October 14th this year on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in Europe and the UK.

I hope they have really done some improvements to the gameplay, because PES2011 really SUCKS! It's unbelievable how any minor team in any league is just superior to the top ones, and you can shoot about 20 times in one single game at no avail, and then the PC just scores at the last minute. I know that may happen on real soccer, but when even the referee plays against you when you increase the difficulty, you know some stupid was in charge of the programming. Probably a computer genius, but he doesn't know anything about soccer and game experience. I mean, it should be a game, not a "frustration maker".
