Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have just announced that the publisher and developer’s upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold ahead of its worldwide August release, which means that the first-person action adventure game is finished and ready for mass production!
General manager of Eidos-Montreal, Stephane D’Astous enthused:
“We couldn’t be more excited that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold and will soon be in the hands of expectant gamers. As the first release for Eidos-Montreal, it’s impossible to express how extremely proud we are of the final product and all of the hard work that went into its creation.”
Billed as an open-ended action RPG with “hybrid gameplay,” Deus Ex: Human Revolution follows the story of the cybernetically-enhanced Adam Jensen as he (and you) attempt to crack open a global conspiracy, while using his augmentations to approach challenges and obstacles in many different ways, each of which resulting in real and lasting consequences.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will become available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, as well as via Steam and OnLive, on August 23rd and August 26th in the US and Europe respectively.
