Confirming previous, viciously swirling rumours, Capcom has formally announced Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, a new fighting game that will add twelve all-new Capcom and Marvel characters to the roster, as well as eight new stages, new modes and a “refined fighting system.”
Releasing this November for a “mid range price,” Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 will include a whopping fifty characters thanks to the new additions, including much-requested personalities such as Capcom’s Strider and Firebrand, and Marvel’s Ghost Rider and Hawkeye.
We’ll find out what other new characters are coming to Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 in the near future, but new features added to the game over the original Marvel VS Capcom 3 include enhancements to the game’s balance and online functionality, while a Spectator Mode will also be added to let you watch live matches online.
