Developer id Software is famous for its range of weapons introduced in games such as DOOM and Quake, and while most of them are based on real-world guns, the developer has over the years managed to make their weapons icons of the first-person shooter genre.
With RAGE, id Software is aiming to do the same thing all over again with explosive shotguns and rocket launchers, the unique ‘wing stick’ and crossbow, and a few extra gadgets and abilities to give players and edge in combat and truly provide us with different sets of options in a firefight.
