To celebrate the release of the third map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops earlier this week, Activision and Treyarch promised to hold a Double XP weekend starting July 1st.
But oh, what’s this? It’s July 1st today? Let’s go!
Starting right now, if you jump into a multiplayer match of Call of Duty: Black Ops, you’ll be able to earn double the amount of experience points you normally would for all of your in-game actions (kills, headshots etc.), which means you’ll be ranking up at double the speed!
If a few pieces of equipment have been frustratingly out of reach, or you can’t quite manage to level up fast enough to unlock a perk you’ve had your eye on, then be sure to get into Black Ops this weekend!
