If you enjoy rhythm games (and a challenge) then Rhythm Heaven will be right up your alley.
The game will teach you rhythm and test your skill with fun music challenges. You’ll need to “feel the rhythm and complete musical patterns on the fly” through various visual and audio cues.
You’ll do this by tapping the ‘A’ button or both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ buttons together on the Wii Remote in time to the music to hit the beats accurately and pass challenges. As you become more skilled you’ll earn medals and unlock bonus content.
For example, you might be asked to stab a rolling pea with a fork, become a samurai and slash demons or play a game of aerial badminton – all in time to the music of course. Watch the trailer below to see how the game works:
The Wii version includes all new games so if you’ve played the Nintendo DS version you can still look forward to this, although you may recognise familiar characters. It’s also interesting to know that most of the music featured in the game was created by famous Japanese pop music producer TSUNKU.
