Developer RedLynx has just announced Trials Evolution for Xbox LIVE Arcade, the sequel to its popular motorcycle stunts game Trials HD.
This announcement comes as no surprise given that just last month we learnt that Trials HD had crossed the two million sales mark. According to RedLynx, the positive sales, awards and scores of Trials HD made them want to do another Trials game, but they “took [their] time in carefully planning and developing it before announcing it, because [they] wanted to do it right.”
“Trials Evolution is more than just a sequel to Trials HD,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “We listened carefully to all the feedback we received from the previous game and added it to our own vision of what the ultimate Trials game could be, coming up with a gamer’s wish list of must-play features.” He promised more details would be revealed in the future.
However, details of Trials Evolution are few and far between at the moment. We just know that it will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade in 2011 and that it promises to “redefine digital downloads” in this “Survival of the fastest.”
