Mario has taken us into 3D landscapes in prior adventures and now on the 3DS we get to experience the joys of an immersive 3D experience without glasses.
Of course the classic Mario experience will be there, along with new level designs and challenges. Mario can do a rolling somersault attack or run fast with a dash move. Playing as Tanooki Mario, using his tail he can hover, perform floating jumps or attacks.
With the 3D visuals you’ll be able to more accurately judge your jumps and get to those coins and question blocks. The Circle Pad gives you the control to easily navigate Mario through the environments.
Be on the lookout for Goombas with tails, tall stacks of Goombas and a Piranha Plant that spits ink to obscure your view. The rest remains a surprise at this stage and rightly so, after all you should be delighted when you are playing Super Mario and discover something for the first time.
