Fans and those new to the Kirby franchise can look forward to an exciting adventure in Kirby Wii. Travelling through the realm of Pop Star, your mission is to collect scattered pieces of a crashed spaceship. Your noble quest is to help the marooned aliens return to the home planet.
No doubt taking note of the success of the drop-in/drop-out multiplayer success in New Super Mario Bros, you get the same awesome feature in Kirby Wii. Up to three friends can join in the quest at any time as Meta Knight, King Dedede or Waddle Dee. Working together, in a co-operative manner as possible with friends that is, you progress through the game collecting Point Stars and Ability Stars.
Kirby’s signature Copy Ability returns, allowing him to inhale, spit and transform as he encounters enemies.
- Sword: Kirby dons a green cap and wields a sword.
- Beam: Kirby wears a jester hat and can shoot energy from a magic wand.
- Whip: Kirby wears a cowboy hat and can lasso enemies.
- Leaf: Kirby is surrounded by a whirlwind of leaves.
A new range of Super Abilities is at your fingertips, or lips if truth be told. Inhale a special enemy and you get a Super Ability. One such epic Super Ability is the “Super Sword” which allows Kirby to swing a giant sword and take out all the enemies on the screen in once sweep. Wicked!
