It’s that wonderful time of the year when we get to indulge in trailers from E3, and trust me when I say that this first gameplay trailer from Metro: Last Light won’t disappoint.
Metro: Last Light, the new horror-themed first-person shooter from THQ and developer 4A Games, was just announced earlier this month.
Last Light will be set in 2024 and places players in the middle of a frantic civil war taking place in the developer’s vision of a post-apocalyptic Moscow, as players take part in a struggle for control over a ‘doomsday device,’ said to hold the power to “destroy humanity forever.”
See Metro: Last Light in action below in this first gameplay trailer taken from the E3 live demo. It’s guaranteed to leave you wanting more, so flip through our previous coverage and stay tuned for more news soon.
Metro: Last Light is scheduled for release in 2012, across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms.
