Ever since the game was first formally announced, we’ve been patiently waiting for a few good, extended looks at Saints Row: The Third in action with an impressive gameplay video or two.

Information and screenshots are nice, but short of actually playing the game, there’s nothing like a nice video slice of a highly anticipated title to showcase what kinds of raucous action we’re going to be able to get up to.

Luckily, our patient waiting has paid off, because THQ and Volition have together released a massive gameplay video revealing the incredibly “over-the-top and ridiculous” gameplay of this open-world sandbox adventure.
