Even though this week was pretty quiet on the news front, the industry still managed to keep us busy and on our toes with new trailers, screenshots and interesting happenings.

This week is chock a block with new game releases, great news for the El33t team! So we’ll be settling back and getting some quality time with a few new titles - look out for those reviews soon!

“I’m all reviewed out this weekend so I’m technically on ‘El33t l33ve’ but there’s still hopefully some time to spend on games.

I managed to grab Bad Company 2, Far Cry 2, and Brothers in Arms each for R49.95 from the Incredible Connection clearance so I’m fixing for a bit of casual ‘Bad Company.’ Oltman’s broken my heart for Monday because we both had the day off to round up the zombie apocalypse in Dead Nation but now Oltman’s going in to work, after all…thanks for nothing, buddy! I’ll get over it I guess but IF YOU EVER GO TO WORK DURING THE REAL APOCALYPSE YOU CAN FORGET MY COVERING FIRE!

Ahem. 9:35am Saturday is the biggest moment of the weekend for me and for all those people that don’t know what that means I’ll say two words: Sharks, Crusaders. They may be playing in Nelson but the only Nelson that matters tomorrow is MANDELA!GO SOUTH AFRICA!”

“I think it’s going to be a busy gaming weekend for me. Alice: Madness Returns has me hooked so I’m definitely going to be spending some more time in Wonderland. I’m also going to be returning to Hillies to re-live one of my favourite adventures of all time with Jade in Beyond Good & Evil HD. Then there’s Child of Eden, and inFamous 2 - spoilt for choice really!

It’s another wet, frozen weekend here in Durban, which once again serves as a perfect excuse to stay indoors, wrap up, grab a hot drink and fall into some exciting virtual worlds.

I’ll be tumbling into the twisted, bizarre and demon-infested world of Shadows of the Damned this weekend to help ole’ Garcia Hotspur make it through Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami’s ultra unique vision of Hell, and I’ll also be brushing up on (or ‘learning from scratch’) some FIFA 11 tactics in time for the Xbox 360 community’s FIFA 11 Face Off event.

My fingers are frozen to the core, so I’m hoping some intense gaming sessions will loosen them up a bit.”

“This weekend I’ll be spending a fat wad of time in front of the TV watching rugby, movies, and of course playing games. The Sharks have a lot to do against the Crusaders tomorrow so I really hope they can deliver the goods when it counts.

L.A. Noire is taking me an age to complete, so I’ll definitely be chipping away at it some more this weekend. The graphics are a little rough in places and the frame rate is terribly sluggish outside of cut-scenes, but when last did you play a game which made the ‘interactive movie’ genre relevant again?

I’ll also be picking up from where I last left off in Red Johnson’s Chronicles so I can write up a well-rounded review for this enjoyable PlayStation Network title.
