This week the world will finally get to experience a strange, hellish and inspired collaboration between Suda 51 (Killer 7, No More Heroes) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, Vanquish), because the pair’s latest action game has arrived in the US, and will become available in Europe, the UK, South Africa and other territories later this week.
Can you handle Shadows of the Damned?
Before answering, we think you should first watch the launch trailer for this hectic journey through a most unique vision of hell:
Shadows of the Damned - Launch Trailer
So, do you still think that you can handle Shadows of the Damned?
In the trailer, you would have seen chief protagonist Garcia Hotspur, a professional demon hunter who is on a quest to save the love of his life from the evil clutches of the ‘Lord of Demons.’
Using the power of light to overcome the darkness of hell, Garcia must defeat horrifying creatures and solve challenging puzzles to continue on his journey to rescue his beloved Paula. Garcia won’t be alone on his adventures, however, as the trusty, useful and helpful demon ‘Johnson’ will be along for the ride, and is able to transform into a variety of powerful weapons to help Garcia destroy his enemies.
Described as a “psycho-punk action thriller,” Shadows of the Damned is certainly one of the most unique and intriguing games to release this year!
While it’s out today in North America for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Shadows of the Damned will release in Europe, the UK and South Africa on June 24th.
